Luminine (open species)

You had to come up with a design based on the words 'canine' and light', it was pretty interesting!}

Luminines (combination of Luminous Canine) are creatures that are like dogs, but it has a bulb for a tail! They also have a glass chest/tummy compartment where light shines through, as well as markings that glow, and a nose which glows! They also have patches of light under their ears.
The bulb light changes colour depending on how it feels. Yellow for happy, red for anger etc etc, which then causes the light shining through it's chest, nose and stuff to also be that colour!
Luminies can come in a variety of colours, with different ear shapes, bulb shapes, or markings, such as stripes instead of spots. But they all have a glass chest and stomach.
